Snapchat is working hard to lure advertisers into their social media platform. Hyatt is the most recent company to test out the fledgling social media network’s marketing flex. The hotel chain is hoping to target the millennial market by teaming up with Comedy Central’s Snapchat Discover page. Snapchat Discover is the section of the app where brands can show off a series of short clips to get users to engage with their services. Hyatt’s ads would be interspersed with this short content. The ads will feature comedian Iliza Shlesinger and attempt to emulate the comedic sensibility of the channel. The new Snapchat ads will release in conjunction with other videos on social media, but the company is hoping that the Snapchat videos will excite the millennial market.
