You Don’t Need a Kindle to Read Kindle Books!
If you’ve published on Kindle you know that many people do not actually own a Kindle device.
The most common question you receive as a published Kindle Author is – how can I read your book?
Recently, one of my subscribers wrote me an email:
“…I’ve started to research marketing my app and eBook and came across your site. You’ve got great reviews on Amazon for your 11 Tips book. Great job!
I’m wondering if you sell it in another format…such as PDF? Though I have 2 eBooks on Amazon I sadly must admit I don’t have a Kindle…yet! …”
The buck stops here!

Amazon is interested in people buying as many Kindle books as possible and realizes that not everyone is going to own a Kindle. And that’s why Amazon came out with Free Reading Apps that you can download for free from Amazon.
A Short Note to Kindle Publishers
If you are publishing for Kindle:
It is very important to go through your own Kindle book on a Kindle reader so that you can troubleshoot, edit and improve your reader’s experience.
Sometimes you will pick up on small formatting errors only after actually seeing your book on a Kindle device or reader.
Don’t forget to pay attention to what people are saying in the reviews. If you receive many complaints about formatting, start by viewing your book in a Kindle reader.
While Kindle formatting cannot replace a great quality book, it can put readers off from purchasing or reviewing your book as it contributes to the overall reading experience.
So get your head out of the sand and take some action!
