Handy Internet Marketing Tips -How to Undo Sending in Gmail

February 9, 2010 By Duru 4 Comments

Here is a Great Internet Marketing Tip For Retrieving Sent Emails in Gmail – Undo Send

I’m sure you have experienced the pleasure of hitting send on an email and then a few seconds later wishing you hadn’t been so trigger happy?

Well, now there is a cool gadget in Gmail labs, called Undo Send. After enabling and configuring the feature you can then undo sending a Gmail email for up to 30 seconds after sending.

Gmail Labs Undo Send - Internet Marketing Tips

Gmail Labs Undo Send

The only thing I find a bit annoying is that the longest configurable time period to undo send is 30 seconds. If only it were 5 or 10 minutes longer it would be that much more useful 😉

Still it is worth enabling, now that you know it’s there.

* Keep in mind that  Gmail Labs is a testing ground for experimental features that are not yet integrated in Gmail. That means that they may change, break or disappear at any time. On the bright side, the more you try these features and provide Google with feedback, the more chance of them moving out of the labs and into Gmail…

In this video I walk you through setting up your Gmail account to include the Gmail labs feature – Undo Send.

Can you provide an example of how to create different kinds of links to my website in the google document?

      Hey Phil,

To add a link to your doc – Simply highlight the text you want to link to a website (your anchor text), and select the link icon from the menu bar- same as in a word processor.

Let me know if you have any questions,
      Shira
