Every one in five minutes of mobile phone use is spent using Facebook’s apps, according to the company’s Q2 findings. The company is using its huge user base (1.49 billion active monthly users) and increased revenue ($2.91 billion to $4.04 billion in three months) to drive future investments that will keep the company moving forward. 76% of Facebook’s ad revenue is coming from mobile ads, which saw a jump of 14% over the same quarter last year. These numbers show that Facebook is still (and will continue to be) one of the most promising avenues for mobile marketing investment.
